Malala is going positive to treatment "friendly"

London:Doctors at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham have said that Malala remains in stable condition after spending a third night in intensive medical care where she is receiving "one-to-one nursing care, 24 hours a day".A spokesman for the hospital said that doctors were "happy with her progress so far" and she is responding well to treatment.

Report also said that the 14-year old was said to be moving her limbs on Wednesday night but the hospital said that the doctors had to respect the patient's confidentiality and would release more information when possible.

A statement from the hospital said: " The various specialist consultants from both the Queen Elizabeth and Birmingham Children's hospitals continue to assess her on a daily basis.At this time Malala's family remain in Pakistan.

More than 2,000 people from around the world have posted messages of support for Malala on the university Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust website.

ملالئے علاج کے لیے برطانیہ روانہ

راولپنڈی: عسکریت پسندوں کے قاتلانہ حملے میں شدید زخمی ہونے والی ملالئے یوسفزئی کو علاج کے لیے برطانیہ روانہ کردیا گیا ہے۔

 

پیر کی صبح آئی ایس پی آر کے ایک بیان کے مطابق ملالئے کو متحدہ عرب امارات سے منگوائی گئی ائیر ایمبولینس سے لندن روانہ کیا گیا۔

 

برطانیہ روانگی کا فیصلہ فوجی ڈاکٹروں نے سویلین ڈاکٹروں سے مشاورت سے کیاگیا۔

گذشتہ شب آئی ایس پی آر کے ترجمان میجر جنرل عاصم باجوہ نے ملالئے کےبارے میں میڈیا بریفنگ کے دوران کہا تھا کہ ان کی حالت تسلی بخش ہے۔

 

باجوہ کے مطابق ڈاکٹروں نے انہیں تھوڑی دیرکے لیے وینٹی لیٹرکے بغیر رکھا، جس کےدوران ملالئے نے اپنے طورپرسانس لی۔

 

آئی ایس پی آر کی طرف سے مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ ملالئے کے برطانیہ سفر اور اس کے علاج معالجے کے تمام اخراجات حکومت پاکستان برداشت کرے گی۔

One Side America's Drone attacks,One Side "Terrorists" who is better predator of Pakistani civilians????

Drone issue remained under sharp focus these days as both frequency of provocative attacks as well as reaction to them has increased.It is,however,highly condemnable that in total disregard to the aspirations and will of the people of Pakistan,the united states continues to carry out drone attacks inside the country killing many innocent people.

Attacks were mounted for consecutive two  days on Wednesday and Thursday and in the latest one alone eighteen people were killed in Orakzai Agency.

According to official figures,it was the 309th strike since US drone started attacking targets in Pakistan.As per an official hand out,the Foreign office lodged a strong formal protest with the United States,conveying the American Embassy in Islamabad that these attacks constitute violation of the country's sovereignty.But the power-drunk super power has neither cared for Pakistani protests and demands in the past nor is likely to pay heed in future and as a reaction there would be more terrorism and extremism.

We have been pointing out in these columns that drones might be killing a handful of militants but they do more damage to the war on terror.

Us drones attacks killed about 700 civillians in 2009,officials say in 2009, 44 predator strikes carried out by the CIA in the tribal areas of Pakistan struck only five of their intended al Qa'eda and Taliban targets,but more than 700 innocent civilians also died,according to Pakistani authorities.

"For each al'qaeda and Taliban terrorist killed by US drones,140 innocent Pakistani's also had to die.Over 90 per cent of those killed in the deadly missile strikes were civillians, claim authorities.
